The Dept. of Argiculture and Industries Data Systems section produces two copies of these reports each month and sends both to Accounting. They are arranged by division and section. They give budgeted amounts of expenditures, monthly expenditures, and year-to-date totals of expenditures for each section. They also break expenditures down by object code. The reports compare expenditures for the previous year-to-date and current year-to-date by major object code. Accounting sends a copy to each appropriate section head and keeps a file copy. The reports also show comparison of receipts by revenue source for current and previous year-to-date. The receipt comparison portion of the reports are not sent to the section heads, but are sent to the Commissioner of Agriculture. Data Systems derives these reports from a computer tape sent to them by the Office of the Comptroller, which they return to the Comptroller.
